How long does it take to join?
Most students join in under 30 seconds once they have the code.
Do I need a Gimkit account?
No account or app download is required on GimKit Join.
Can I join from my phone?
Yes. Use Chrome, Safari, or any mobile browser. The join page is touch-friendly.
What if I misspell the code?
The join box will say no game found. Double-check each letter with your teacher.
Why am I stuck on “Waiting for host”?
The teacher has not started yet. Sit tight until they begin the first question.
Can I join after the game started?
Usually yes during lobby or early questions. Late joins depend on your teacher’s rules.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
You need internet to load the page and send answers. School Wi-Fi works fine for most classes.
